Wow. What a great read. I finally feel like I am getting into this whole BDSM thing. This was the first book in the series where I felt the BDSM wasn't light and a bit fluffy. This felt pretty serious! Maybe not hardcore but definitely not light.
Here we have Charli, a great heroine. I have a complete soft spot for geeks, tom boys, awkward and feisty heroines. Charli was most of these things. I loved her. I liked her strength and I thought the author did a great job of explaining why strong women might want to be submissive in their fantasies. Certainly helped me get with the programme!
I loved Grant. He has been such a mystery up until now. The man who can read a trickle of sweat. Yes please!
I just loved it. And pretty low angst compared to the last book which was a 5 star but I knocked off a star because I was so sad about the angst! This one focused far more on the thriller storyline and the journey Charli takes internally to realise she is a hot babe.
Brilliant.

Wow what an ending. I loved that we finally got a story on grant and charli. It was slow at first but it did pick up 100 pages in the book. Can’t wait to read the next one.
