Funny little tongue in cheek book making fun of our current right wing extremists. The premise being that you need to talk to your cat about gun safety, satanism, on-line safety, puberty, homosexualty and an array of other topics that are being "forced" on our cats by the liberals of the world. The group that publishes this "information" is the "American Association of Patriots". Of course it's all satire against the far right...and it is hilarious! What amazes me it was published in 2016, before things with the right went truly sideways, and it is in it's 23rd printing! Great little book if you're looking for a laugh.

This satire swung back and forth between so wildly absurd and hilarious I was in tears and thinking that a part would be funny if it wasn't the exact rhetoric with the word "cat" instead. A very difficult line to walk and I think the author achieved what a good satire does, a good make-you-laugh make-you-think balance. It does get redundant to try to read in one sitting but so does far-right rhetoric. Recommended for cat lovers who go feral thinking about Tucker Carlson.

Thought it'd be satire- turned out to be hateful propaganda that used 'Jew' as a derogatory term.

Quite possibly the finest book written in the English language.
The book is meant to be satirical and has some funny moments (I love the clearly photoshopped images) but at times it feels too much like a right-wing rant that it becomes less enjoyable to read. It just keeps going on and on about the topics, so I think if each topic was shorter it would be better.
Even though this book is supposed to be satirical it often comes off as genuine right-wing ranting; which I didn't care for. I also hate puns, and there were soooo many of them. There were a few vaguely funny parts, but mostly I was just hoping for the book to be over.
