Hazel Kiegen loves things that can be proven by research or numbers. One thing she can’t stand is a charlatan claiming he has “cracked the code for love”. Just because he’s hot, smart, adorable, intelligent, sexy...WAIT! She can’t like him, but she can’t stop thinking about him.

Corban Nash loves numbers. He loves science. He may have “cracked the code for love”, his long list of marriages from the people that have taken is questionnaire prove it. But it doesn't work on him. Corban needs more research. He starts working at the College that Hazel works. She is his nemesis. She argues against his work. She is a pain in his ass. But why can’t he stop thinking about her?
Well you know what they say about love/hate. It is two sides of the same coin. The sparks fly whenever they are around each other! Oh, do they ever!

Oh how I love a HOT, sexy nerd! Corban isn’t just your average nerd. Nope, he is a rock-climbing, number crunching, dirty talking, baby loving NERD! WOW! Claire sure knows how to write a sexy nerd! I just can’t get enough of Claire’s stories. I love how she weaves in characters from her other books. Their stories may be over, but I love hearing about where they are in their lives! Ohh I can’t wait for Nora, Sophie, and Jensen (maybe?) books!

Sweet

This is a sweet stand alone romance with a charming happy ending. Two made for each other souls struggle to find their truths amongst the stumbling blocks they put in each other’s way. It’s cute, very nerdy, and perfectly suited to their fields.

First person, multiple POV, HEA, romance
M/F
Rating = mature

I never knew you could literally have sex with someone and not even touch them....this is the relationship between Hazel and Corban. What starts out as a rivalry between two strong willed individuals turns directly into hate lust as coworkers. The next turns into friends with benefits and then booty call dinners. But what happens when true feelings come into play? Can a questionnaire really allow them to see each other in a different light? Or are the destined to always be just all about the orgasms? Although I found some of the intellectual baggage a little extreme I still found the story to be entertaining.

Romantic comedy with the right amount of steam!

If you love sweet, laugh out loud, HEAs... this book is for you! Two nerdy, but hot, scientists start off as enemies and end up as lovers. One of my favorite tropes!! This really was a great read. The character development was excellent! Even the side characters were great! The sex was HOT, no like for real there’s a scene in the copy room, it was h-o-t! I definitely want to read the other books in this series, all standalones with overlapping characters. Well done to the author!

The Dirty Martini Running Club is back!! Laughs, friendships, and everything else we’ve come to love about this group of women since we first met them in Everly’s dating disasters.
Everything about Corban was a turn on and adorably irresistible. The random facts, the hopeless romantic, even the socially awkwardness. There’s no wonder Hazel was unable to resist him once he broke down her walls. One of my favorite things was Hazel ‘Owning It’ like the bad ass bitch she was. The hate-lust between these two was HAAAAAWT with a capital H! Corban shocked the socks off me because that filthy mouth of his was totally unexpected but oh soo sexy. He has climbed the ranks of all of Claire’s delicious men and resumed his rightful place at the top as my new favorite! Hazel and Corban proved to us that intelligence has never looked so sexy! I received a copy from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review.
