The memoirs of a British Spy operation with the French Resistance during WW2.

Contains several stories without going into heavy detail and explains spy craft in a way which the reader can follow.

The book is beautifully bound and has several impressive illustrations throughout.

A wonderfully evocative tale of the SOE in WWII France, with wonderfully humble narration by the author. The text moves along at a splendid pace and there's never a dull moment.

This edition is also beautifully illustrated by Geoff Grandfield.
