{My thoughts} – This book shows what it’s like to be a little child learning the ins and outs of every day life. David is constantly told no or what he is doing is wrong by his mom.
I enjoyed this book. It shows children that it’s okay to explore and make messes. But that when mom says no or stop that you should stop. It also shows them that no matter how much mayhem they cause, that their mom will still love them.
I think this is a great book that should be on every child’s bookshelf. Every child needs to know that it’s okay to mess up and that messing up doesn’t mean that mom is going to love them any less.

David, a rambunctious young boy, gets into all sorts of trouble...which means his mother must always be telling him: "No, David!"
A classic picture book that includes some familiar adult phrases.

NO, David! is such an amazing book. NO, David! is a book written by David Shannon. Shannon actually wrote this book about himself at the young age of five. He writes about how he broke all of his mother's rules (chewing with his mouth open, jumping on the furniture in his house, and even breaking things). Throughout the book, David keeps breaking rules until his mother says, “Alright David that is enough”, which ends his bad behavior. Although the book tells about all the rules David broke, it also teaches the lesson of enough is enough.

Attractive, simple enjoyment for small ones, but I don't like the attitude. :)

Truly a masterpiece in storytelling. David is a dick but his mom forgives him and loves him anyway. Even snot nosed kids deserve love (just not from me).
