It should be illegal to put an 18+ warning on a book that revolves around teenage characters. It should also be illegal to write a threesome that features two adult brothers and a teenage girl. Also this is definitely Riverdale fan fiction.

Okay first of all I want to say that i'm ALL for unhinged lesbians but this is clearly not written by a person who understands lesbians, some scenes just feel awful and still the worst thing to me was that ending

For some reason the author gave us the most boring and conventional ending possible and expect us to take that seriously

This book really reads like a lesbian romance written by a straight person for a straight audience. I’m not really a fan of the internalized homophobia violent oppressor angle and feel like the enemies to lovers trope could’ve been implemented in a better way than that. It felt dated and archaic and I’m not sure what the author’s sexuality is but it seems like this may be a lot more palatable for straight readers. Ultimately, this felt like a toxic wattpad story that had potential but fell off for me due to the author’s writing feeling very disconnected from the queer gaze.
