I really enjoyed this more modern twist on fantasy! It was a little odd to get used to at first, but once I delved in I absolutely loved this storyline. If I had to pick a fantasy world to live in, I might just pick CC for the amenities. I laughed, I cried, and in true SJM fashion, had my heart ripped out a few times. Bryce and Hunt had great character development throughout and I cannot wait to see their story continue in the next book!

i won’t lie, this was a slow start for me with all the character and world building thrown at you first thing. but once you get into it, buckle the heck up.
