Good interesting storyline with many in depth subplots and multiple possibilities a bit long winded in parts but well written in an intriguing style. Ending slightly disappointing felt a little rushed after such a build up but in my opinion the rest of the book makes it still worth the read.

This book is short to begin with but could have been at least 150 pages shorter. Nothing happened for the first 95% of the book (I track my pages so that’s accurate) the ending was twisty and surprising, but wasn’t really worth enduring the first half of the book. I was comparing this book to Sharp Objects and it doesn’t hold a candle to it!

Gillian Flynn does it again. I seem to kind of pick who’s done what but I’m always pleasantly surprised with the actual answer. unique as always can’t wait to read more!

A good thriller that doesn't get too unsettling or dark. It has elements of gore, psychological twists, and mystery all blended together. Like many thrillers, there are some subplots that felt like they were there only for shock value without adding too much to the story. However, I wouldn't say they ruined the book. The writing is strong, visual, and keeps a nice pace.
