Such a sad topic, but this book is beautifully written. I appreciated how the women's stories were told in a personal way that makes it easier for the reader to connect with them.

Such a tragic story that is never taught about in the public school system but deserves a voice. Parts of the book were a bit slow or difficult to stay engaged, but the overall story was a must read for anyone interested in learning about an ugly but pivotal part of women’s history in the American workplace.
