It's like reading a horror novel except you know how it turns out.  These poor brave women.  A true example of capitalism over human decency.  I cannot imagine the pain these women endured.  The ripple effect of this radium poisoning is epic.

The story is quite interesting and important to American history, but the book is written at about an 8th grade reading level. I was so bored with the language that I quit about 1/3 of the way through.
