A solid 4-star read.
I wanted a quick audiobook to listen to. I loved the back and forth POV and the flashbacks left me wanting to know more about the past, and a little less interested in the future. I was invested in Miles falling for both Rachel and Tate, but was left trying to figure out WHY he loved them both so much, or why Tate liked Miles so much, or why Rachel liked Miles so much—there’s so explanation as to why they love each other other than their lust, so I didn’t love that. It kept me wanting to know more, and had a satisfying plot twist and ending. It was pretty spicy, so that wasn’t my fave, and you’d probably want to avoid it if you don’t want spice.

This book is very good but the beginning didn’t keep me interested all the way. until I was half way through the book, that’s when it got interesting.

Colleen’s book are just simply amazing. The way this book made you feel - I had waterworks going for the last quater of the book. The grief, the love just enveloped your heart. Absolutely beautiful book

I almost gave this book a 4 only because the description of the book did not prepare me for some of the moments in it that absolutely gutted me, but even with that I still loved reading this book. I cried ugly tears, laughed and just fully enjoyed every bit of reading this.

“Ugly love becomes you. Consumes you. Makes you hate it all. Makes you realize that all the beautiful parts aren't even worth it. Without the beautiful, you'll never risk feeling the ugly. So you give it up. You give it all up. You never want love again, no matter what kind it is, because no type of love will ever be worth living through the ugly love again.”

This story was an emotional roller coaster but in the best way. It was as equally heartbreaking as it was heartwarming. There were many beautiful poems and metaphors throughout that brought this story to life. It’s been 3 days and I keep thinking about the quote I posted above. I’d say if you’re on the fence about Colleen Hoover books, read/start with this one. I guarantee it will change your mind!

This was a thousand times better than It Ends With Us. I absolutely loved it. It’s another classic boy-meets-girl, but the character development is excellent and it’s mostly a feel-good read!

I believe that Colleen Hoover isn’t for me. I hated the mfc and mmc.
