EDMUND AND JALISSA— THE ANGST!

Essie and Farrendel, YOU’RE DOING AMAZING SWEETIES OMG I WUV YOU TWO PRECIOUSNESS 🥺🥺🥺

I know the next book is about Julien, and while I love Julien, I don’t particularly like the thought of him with Vriska. Hmm.

There are naturally going to be a lot of secrets and even lies involved in a story that focuses on a spy prince. Even though I thought that aspect was handled well, and liked the effort Edmund put in to be honorable in the midst of necessary secrets, I didn't really enjoy the book as much as some of the others because of all that.

That said, it was a satisfying continuation of some ongoing story lines, and I'm looking forward to the next book!
