This was ludicrous. I have no words.
Tropes: enemies to lovers, the scarecrow is “born sexy yesterday”: super hot but initially knows nothing about humans or romance
🌶️: rough and very frequent sex, medium burn. A bit of lame bondage.

FMC inherits her witchy aunt’s farm and with it, a scarecrow. Unbeknownst to her, the scarecrow (MMC) is alive and can take on human form. The plot is about a Crow King needing half of the crops to be sacrificed to his crows, and in return he blesses the crops.. this pact has existed for a few centuries and FMC is the new heir but doesn’t know it. I have no idea what the magical scarecrow’s purpose is within this pact (to keep the crows away? But why are they trying to sabotage crops that eventually get fed to them anyways??). Anywho the scarecrow in human form decides to fulfill the pact himself since FMC has no idea what’s going on, so he grumpily takes care of growing crops. MMC and FMC hate eachother initially but ogle eachother whenever possible until the sexual tension is finally broken.

I didn’t really like FMC, especially at the beginning she’s obnoxious. MMC doesn’t have much personality, I mean he’s a scarecrow in human form so (…I never thought I’d write a sentence  like that.) There’s a hilarious part in the middle where he discovers women like dick so he sews a dick onto himself, and then is CONSTANTLY ERECT for the rest of the book. I’m not sure what they saw in eachother besides the opportunity for frequent sex.
