Good quick read. It’s a peak into the lives of the very wealthy. I didn’t understand how she thought this job would give her more time or fulfill what she was looking for, but I found it very interesting nonetheless.

As someone who relates a lot to Carrie's story, I really enjoyed both the shallower gossipy bits about Carbon and her personal transformation and growth. Looking forward to more from this author!

I absolutely loved this. I love true stories about rich people, they always sound like sci-fi. Carrie has a great voice and I found her so relatable. I found myself moving back and forth between feeling like she had the world in the palm of her hand (money, food, clothes, privilege's) and seeing just how much it was breaking her. It was a great reminder that abuse can look like anything. Highly recommend to anyone.

Was expecting something a lot juicier and drama-filled and something with new, unique insights into the billionaire lifestyle or behind-the-scenes at a hedge fund, whereas I don't think I learnt anything new here or that there was anything out of the ordinary to really mull on.
I think it's a compelling read/listen if you know nothing about the world of finance or hedge funds!

The personal interactions were very interesting, but it is a very opaque read for someone not already well-versed in the finance world.
