I loved this, endearing characters that were occasionally, surprisingly funny. A good little mystery but I was more interested in the story telling and the characters than who did it. 4.5 stars

This book is so much fun. Great twists and turns and characters that made me laugh out loud. I’ll never look at Robinson Crusoe the same way again.

Quick and easy pace with a massive plot filled with surprises and twists. An amazing mystary, maybe one of the best written ever.

The primary interest I retain in this book after reading is its status of largely founding the English mystery genre. It is certainly an interesting story, but long. I suspect that, like the work of Dickens, it was initially serialized. There are certainly some fascinating characters, but to me the main characters, particularly Rachel, were dull. I did very much like the way Drusilla Clack was written. The name alone is fantastic. Overall, I liked it, but was not terribly impressed, given its reputation.

Idk I didn‘t like any of the narrators, the only thing that kept me going was the solution of the case.
