First, my gratitude to Kodansha Comics and Netgalley for providing me with an advanced reading copy of this series!

What an adorable and funny quick read! Pen-chan is the ultimate pet anyone would die to own; he does the cooking, he does the laundry, and he does the cleaning! It's very idealistic but it never fails to crack me up. I love how light the premise is. But it kind of breaks my heart that his owner Hayakawa is taking his loyalty for granted!! Hayakawa got to grow up, the dude sure is so absorbed with himself! You got to pet the pet, you know. I identify myself with the friend, Seto, though. I just adore the cutie fluffball penguin so much!! Overall, I enjoyed this series, and it wouldn't hurt to see another volume of this cute pet series!

This was cute and silly. Like, really dumb in a funny way. The "owner" of Pen-chan was so damn annoying lol. Justice for Pen-chan

OH. MY. GOSH! This was just the cutest manga! Pen's facial expressions made me laugh so hard throughout this slice of lifestyle manga. His expressions say a lot for a pet that doesn't talk all that much! I loved the dynamic that his owner and all of the Owner's friends have with each other and with Pen, and I can't wait to read the second installment of the Penguin & House when it debuts. Highly recommend it if you'd like a lighthearted, slice-of-life-style manga!

Thank you Netgalley for this eARC! I thought this was such a cute manga! This book was so difficult to read because I felt so bad for Pen 🤣 He works so hard and does an amazing job cooking and cleaning and then Hayakawa comes along and always unintentionally ruins Pen's hard work 😅 The artwork is so cute and Pen's such an expressive penguin. Hayakawa's friends were fun to read about as well and I could totally relate to the one who was obsessed with how cute Pen was. I highly recommend this manga if you need some cuteness to lighten your day. I couldn't stop smiling while reading this 😅

Such a FEEL GOOD manga LOADED with tons of CUTENESS

Personal Ratings : 4.5🌟

If you're a fan of mangas like The Way of the Househusband, Vol. 1 or Sue & Tai-chan, Vol. 1 or even A Man and His Cat, Vol. 1, this manga is definitely it for you! It was wholesome and just a very, normal, everyday life scenario of a pet penguin that is capable of doing everything and an owner who is basically a klutz.

The drawings in here is so CUTEEEE and it was WHOLESOME! I loved how even the owner can look like he didn't appreciate his pet, he loved him in his own way. Penko, or Pen, the penguin is just an adorable character overall. You can't help but love him and adore him :') The fact that HE'S JUST CAPABLE OF DOING ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING makes it cuter! I loved that its somehow on family relationships and focused on friendship!

Highly recommended if you're looking for a light read because it was just so adorable!

Thank you so much to Netgalley and Kodansha comics for this ARC

Penguin & House is a really adorable manga, perfect for fans of series like Chi's Sweet Home or penguins in general, that follows a penguin and his thoughtless owner through their daily life together.

I enjoyed this manga as a light read, though I did find myself frustrated with Pen's owner so often!! The pacing was consistent, and it was easy to speed right through. There wasn't a ton that stood out about it, though I did love Pen's character design. This is a really fun read, if not entirely memorable, and I would recommend it if you're looking for something lighthearted and cute!

It was actually very cute and lighthearted! Just what I needed at the moment. Pen deserves way better than his owner but the way Pen reacted to everything was funny, and I liked  Hayakawa's friends reaction over Pen lol

It's a collection of a few little stories and it's the best thing to do, as a full story would have been weird to me. The stories were cute and funny, and you really fly through this manga as it's a really fast read! It's a really good manga for kids but also teenagers and adults who likes lighthearted and short readings.
