Every single one of the members of Carolina George owns a piece of my heart, but I've been waiting for this book from the get-go. I knew that Rhys Mannings had a story to tell, and, y'all, A.L. Jackson did not disappoint. Angst, passion, danger, forbidden love, yep, it's all in this beautiful beautiful story, and I am here for it. With Maggie Fitzgerald as Rhys's Goddess Girl, there was no way in the world that this book was not going to consume me, and, boy, did it.

Here's the thing...I don't think that Amy could write a story that wasn't basically alive with every one of the feelings if she had to. So, when I pick up one of her books, I know. I know that it will be an emotional experience, one that will be as uncomfortable at times as it is beautiful, and I'm okay with that.

I think that Richard said it the best towards the end of the book, and, to paraphrase him, how do these beautiful souls keep ending up in these adrenaline pumping, heart in the throat, epic race that has us, the readers, right there with them, on the edge of our seats, desperate to see how everything will unfold. I'm telling you, I am wrung out when I finish one of these books, but in the most wonderful way.

I am so sorry to see the end of this series, because with it comes an end to characters that I've known and loved since Amy kicked off the Bleeding Stars books. It truly is like saying goodbye to some really great friends, but I can't think of a better way to wrap things up.

This is the kind of book that will stay with me for a very long time, and I cannot recommend BENEATH THE STARTS or any of them enough. Readers that love a book that will turn you inside out in the best possible way ought to have every one of these books on their TBR. I have no doubt that you will absolutely fall in love. ❤️

Who would have ever thought that Rhys would end up with Maggie and have all the feels?!?! These two had lots of things in common like experiencing traumatic events in their lives. But Rhys knew that Maggie was off limits and too young for him abs Maggie knew the bad boy rockstar was a big softie underneath all of that and she couldn’t stay away and so did him. One thing these two had in common was their unselfishness character. They always put others happiness, well-being before theirs which at times led to problems. These two had so many scenarios thrown at them that tested their love and loyalty. One thing you get from this story is the amazing friendship between Rhys and Richard; they’re always each other’s ride or die. Even moody Royce wasn’t too bad and his protectiveness for his sister was just wow. This group of friends are there in the good and bad times. Secrets were revealed and Rhys felt betrayed but Maggie was his priority. Maggie had such a beautiful heart and wanted to help out others regardless of her traumatic past. Loved this story and loved little Miss Daisy too.

Note: An ARC was provided by the author.

I knew going into Beneath the Stars that I would have to bid adieu to the Falling Stars series, and while I thought I was prepared to say goodbye, I sure as heck wasn't prepared for how much this fourth and final book would gut me. This series ender is a falling-for-your-friend's-sibling romance, but there's also much more to it than "just" that.

All. The. Feels! Gah! Seriously, Rhys and Maggie were just... Le sigh. My heart was so invested in these two. You could see how much they wanted to be together, but with Royce making it clear he did not think that was a good idea and then Rhys's past haunting him relentlessly, there was a lot coming at and for both of them. Talk about complicated!

I take my hat off to A.L. Jackson for her gift in striking that fine balance between lighthearted and more weighted moments throughout the story. There's even some suspense added to the mix! The added bonus of having all those familiar characters from both the Bleeding Stars and Falling Stars made Beneath the Stars a five-plus-starred read.

Another stunning, all consuming story from A.L. Jackson. I was captivated from the very beginning. I was drawn in to this world and my heart was all in. This story had so many emotions and the prose is absolutely beautiful. I cannot get enough of A.L. Jackson's writing and I am beyond in love with these characters. I can't wait to see what she has for us next.

⭐️ 5 "Goddess Girl" Stars ⭐️
Wow! I've just finished Beneath the Stars and I'm blown away! This story was pure beauty interlaced with heartache, devotion and passion. A.L. Jackson designed another astounding romance starring two beautiful souls trying to mend their broken pieces together. The enchanting prose only makes the emotion travel so easily across the pages of this novel!

There was always something about Rhys that appealed to me in the previous books of the Falling Stars Series. His cocky personality was truly entertaining and I was ecstatic to see his romance unfold with Maggie. This story was so different then was I was anticipating, but in a very good way.

Rhys hides so much heartache, culpability and self-loathing under his playfulness and humor. I was hurting for the man, slowly discovering his shameful secrets. I couldn’t stop reading, only seeking answers about his past. It was a very long journey to get to that moment where everything is unveiled, but so magical also. I adored how he’s such a good man with Maggie. He is a little reckless and doesn’t feel good enough for this girl that survived such atrocities. He doesn’t want to taint her more, and it just proves how good of a man he truly is when he’s so considerate with her.

Maggie! Oh, how I loved that young woman. With what she lived through, she’s wise beyond her age. She senses Rhys's brokenness and vulnerability. She’s true and a good girl, but when Rhys keeps putting her in the friend zone, she tries everything to prove that they share something tangible. She’s daring and tenacious to prove her point to the man.

This couple gave me chills from their beauty! Totally breathtaking! Their friendship was such a delight to watch grow into love and a burning passion!

The presence of all the familiar and beloved characters from the Bleedings Stars Series / Falling Stars Series made this read even more interesting. In particular, Royce as Maggie’s s over-protective older brother; Emily, Richard and Violet as supportive friends to both Maggie and Rhys; and little Daisy who's so adorable with her uncle Rhys. This was truly heart-warming to witness all of them care for each other.

A.L. Jackson is one of my favorite author for a reason! She always stole my heart with whirlwind romances overflowing with all the feels and a little suspense. The intrigue had me really surprised and hooked, ready for all the revelations. Beneath the Stars is another little gem from her I can assure you!

Amazing!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This series gets better with every book!! The plot twists blow my mind! The roller coaster of emotions wring my heart out, and leave me wanting more. All the characters bring something valuable to the world the author has created. But Rhys and Maggie may be my favorite yet. I might have to do some rereads to make sure!

"You make me feel alive. You make me feel right. You make me believe."

There's an incomparable quality to the lyrical writing that makes every emotion reverberate off the page and resound with every heartbeat.

Maggie and Rhys' story echos the malevolent forces overcome in Catch Me When I Fall and Falling Into You and bring forth haunting demons from the past as they grow closer to each other and find courage in their vulnerabilities to open their hearts and bare their souls to the hope of creating something more than friendship.

"Beneath the stars. Beneath the darkness. Beauty. That's what this girl was."

With such a dynamic cast of characters bonded by blood, friendship, and trust you can't help but crave more interactions from this mismashed family spanning across series that exudes overwhelming love.

Rich and lyrical. Intimate and passionate. Beneath the Stars will envelop you on emotional journey through loss and love, heartbreak and hope, tears and laughter, and make you fall even harder for characters you've come to love along way.

Be sure to start the Falling Stars series with Kiss the Stars. And if you want to dive into the Sunder connected characters, check out the Bleeding Stars series.
