This was a pretty wild thriller about three kids who try to blackmail a killer after witnessing a murder. Despite the situation the kids mostly felt believable, and I had a lot of fun with it overall. A few of the twists and turns felt a bit silly but it all came together by the end.

I thoroughly enjoyed Bad Kids by Zijin Chen. The narrative maintained a gripping pace, ensuring there were no dull moments and consistently leaving you eager to read just a few more pages. The characters were exceptionally well-written, and the final 60+ pages were so good I read straight through to the end in one sitting.

Alright. Well paced. Just felt it was a bit contrived.
Bad kids is a fast pace read ! I read this book while sick and couldn’t put it down; the premise is intriguing but the way that the author unfolded the plot kept me guessing. What’s the next move? How do they get out this? How does this end?
And the ending is WILDLY BETTER than any thriller book I’ve read (which is not an extensive list)!
