Loved the story!
I love wondering through the book what twists are coming and trying to figure it all out!! Of course I didn’t have it figured out and that’s what makes it so good!!

Yes, it’s dark. Not a book for people who don’t like/enjoy that.

Such a surprise that there were swoon worthy aspects that were truly beautiful!
I highlighted quite a bit in this book.
Dark, twisty and beautifully written!!
I loved it!!

I just love Ker Dukey's dark/thriller books so much. There are always crazy plot twists that has you on the edge of your seat. I didn't predict what was going on, or how the story would end. And that is just the way I like my dark and crazy books. I was hooked from start 'til end and couldn't wait to see what the hell was going on. What is real and what is not... You will have to read Devil to find out.

This is hard to rate. I enjoyed the story well enough, however I felt nothing for the main character. Now, I don't have to like the MC, I am okay with not liking them, but I DO have to feel something towards them, and ultimately I just didn't care.. Which in turn made me not care about what happened in the story. If I didn't read this in one sitting, Im not sure I would have continued on with it.

Warning: This book is incredibly dark, twisted, and has many triggers due to sensitive subject matter. If you have read Ker Dukey's books before then you can probably disregard this.

From the moment that the book begins, it is clear that Evi has suppressed memories that she is attempting to recover in order to feel whole. Ker Dukey does an excellent job of conveying Evi's mindset and helping the reader to see that Evi's point of view should not always be trusted. It is clear that she has been through things that have distorted her view.

I thought that Evi's head was an interesting place to be and could not believe all of the events that had taken place in her life at such a young age. There were moments in the book that turned my stomach and made me want to punch something. I found her to be pretty well adjusted during the course of the book considering the hand that she had been dealt.

There were a few twists and turns thrown in by the author that I did not see coming at all. I thought that they were well executed and when I look back I can see where Ker Dukey had lain the groundwork for them. I have to say that that ending was twisted! I think that I am still trying to digest everything because I am in shock. I think that I am attempting to justify the actions of characters in the book and that is just wrong. Let's just say that if you are looking for a DARK book then this is the book for you. In my opinion, this is Ker Dukey's darkest book thus far.

Twisted and Awesome

Even though I see the ending coming, it was still an awesome read. Twisted and at times confusing, it's one of the best reads this year

Well, good thing my brain is so small cuz it means I'll forget all about this book within 3-5 business days. Ker Dukey is always either a hit or miss for me. Sometimes I love her books, other times I really don't.

This one was definitely a miss. It was hard to read because the narrator was obviously unreliable. Nothing felt real to her, and so nothing made sense to me as the reader. I had to skim a lot of confusing pages to make it to the end.

If you like a confusing-ass book, this one would be great to add to your collection. But if you're like me and prefer not to get a tension headache from a book, maybe consider skipping this one.

This book is so good! This is the type of book I am always looking for. Lots of suspense , twists , mystery and a total mind fuck!

At first I was worried it would be too disturbing for me but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be (for me). It would have been a 5 star but I would have liked a little more explanation on some things and maybe a look in to the future at the end but that's probably me being picky.

I still really enjoyed this one and would recommend it for lovers of romantic suspense/ psych thrillers/mystery.
