Where To Begin: A Small Book About Your Power to Create Big Change in Our Crazy World by Cleo Wade

This book is so short that even the audio is less than an hour long! So I actually have been listening to it over and over many nights as I fall asleep. It’s a little hypnotic in the best way. And what a perfect book for right now in this unsettling time... what small steps can I make to bring about positive change in the world?
“Hate is a short cut. Love is the long way. But it is the only road that will actually get you anywhere. Go the distance, beloved.”

This didn’t wreck me as much as Heart Talk did, but it’s a lovely collection of simple and well-written reminders about hope and purpose and positive change. Good for individual reading, but could also be a helpful resource for parents or teachers.

“Love enough to know that just because someone disagrees with you does not make them your enemy.” This book is so good and so timely and felt like the appropriate way to kick off black history month. Short and sweet poems and proses that not only encourage us to make change in the world, but to take care of ourselves and those around us in the process. We can do all things in kindness, love and empathy. A five star read for sure!!

I ordered this book as soon as I discovered it existed. It came in the mail today and I devoured it. Cleo Wades first book Heart Talk is my favourite book ever, it calms me and guides me in times of need. Wades second book is just as brilliant and beautiful and I am already daydreaming about reading it again.
