We really enjoyed this book. The pictures were great and it was a funny read. The author also makes you feel really sad for the goat because everyone blames him on things they had done. But in the end everyone stops using him as the “escape” goat and he gets to carry on his merry little way.

Really beautiful illustrations! And the story is cute with a good moral - you must own up to your own mistakes and not blame someone else for what you did. Kids will enjoy the humor, and the text and illustrations will stand up to repeated readings. Very cute!

A super cute book about blaming others when we make mistakes, especially those who can't speak up for themselves (like the goat in the story). While this is a cute (super cute!) story about that process, it can be used to teach a lesson about *not* blaming others, too.
