⭐⭐⭐.5 It was good and would recommend to most.

Captor/Captive is not my favourite mafia trope because a lot of the time the guys are assholes and then it's filled with insta-love. This wasn't super instalovey but that was because Gia is so fiery and stood up the Enzo. This was super hot and I really enjoyed that plot because Gia provided so much to the story to make it different than the others. I would say this has less plot than the previous two and this was mostly focus on their dynamic. I enjoyed where this took his redemption arc, seeing him unite with Fausto and his family.

I am so glad that I came across this writer when she came out with the first two books in this series. Most of the time when the couples switch - I can not get into the book. That was NOT the case with this story. Gia and Enzo were absolutely incredible together. They had spice, they had chemistry and in the end they had each other. I am so glad that I tried this book, because I think it officially made this author a one-click author for me!
