This is a really well written thriller with some twists than can be preempted and others that keep you guessing.

However, the beauty of this book is that it also manages to subtly weave in romance, humour, emotional relationships and some British nostalgia within the time travel.

HoLY SHIT! Damm. This book doesn't miss. Every time you think you have something figured out: you don't. While most of the characters don't develop beyond their box, Kelly and Jen become something else entirely. They start off in the box but evolve into their own complex characters with backstories you'd never think of. Truly a time travel story thats both new and exciting! My only qualm (which doesn't effect the actual story which is why it doesn't effect the score) is that a lot of the book throws in British slang and as an American its hard to understand.

What would you do if you witnessed your son committing a murder? And then you wake up the day before it happens? It wasn't a dream either.

Would highly recommend for fans of mysteries with a science fiction twist that doesn't overly complicate the realistic fiction narrative.

I finished this book in about a week. I had seen a lot of hype about this book from Reese's book club and I was pleased with the story. There was a good amount of tension and mystery building. I was able to guess one of the twists but I gasped at other parts. I have a couple of unanswered questions or things that I feel didn't really make sense, but I still enjoyed reading this and would recommend it!

A solid mystery that combines crime and time travel - two things that so rarely get combined - in a, truthfully, brilliant way.

There were so many twists and turns in this one that I found myself not minding when I worked a few of them out earlier than I was probably supposed to. I found myself deeply engrossed in Jen's character development as she moved through time, especially her growth in better understanding her relationship with Todd.

The familial love and bonding is one of the central arcs that keeps you coming back. And you'll toggle back and forth between hating and loving certain characters, but I think that's what makes the writing so great! You're just right in there. Fully immersed.

Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a mystery that steps outside of regular expectations!
