This was good, and I liked it more than I thought I would. I haven't read Huckleberry Finn and it took me a while to clock onto that lol (I never read blurbs, and I should really start !). The plot was really good and I really liked the progression of the first act. My one issue was the pacing of the last two sections. Soooooo fast. Especially after the first act, it felt like we sped ran back the way we came and to the rescue at the end. I'd rather the acts be equal lengths or the first act be shorter. A lot of that felt quite pedestrian, but that could be from the original material. Still, really good.
