I loved this book so much. Once I was able to sit down for a chunk of time and read, I couldn't put this down. From cover to cover I was rooting for Kris, and I really enjoyed how the ending came around full circle like that. I don't know if poetic would be the correct word, but it's along those lines.

This one gave me flavours of Horrorstör crossed with Hill's Heart-Shaped Box, and I'm not mad about that. It's a little goofy but Hendrix somehow almost always makes that work. I also sometimes got hints of The Stand - meeting in Vegas will always do that - and I think it all came together well. I guess some people might be a little disappointed by the ending, but I think the idea of something kind of...just going on after a huge event, like...that part just felt real. Life just continues, even after things that seem like they'll be the end. Now, there were some parts that didn't flow well for me, but overall, a solid read. Very well done on audio.

Classic Grady Hendrix, somehow able to make such a silly concept as selling your soul to be a famous rock star chilling, gruesome, and uncomfortable.
Be warned if you're claustrophobic maybe skip this one.

The metalhead that I use to be had me absolutely devour this book. It was everything that old me loved and I found myself laughing at the bands referenced and the comments made and I just thoroughly enjoyed it for everything it was.
