I was a bit disappointed, I didn't even finish it. It was like things were happening but at the same time, nothing was really happening.

I really liked the characters and the heist story but felt there were some plot holes, e.g. how they could fit inside of vents while wearing period-typical attire etc. I would have probably changed the order of the last couple of chapters so that
Hinnah's and Violet's deaths
had occured right before the epilogue. Of course I wish
everyone
had survived but I guess you know what you're getting into when you read a book set on the Titanic. All in all a great heist story!

I wanted to like it but I didn't like half the characters and it was kinda boring for a heist book....
Was gonna dnf it when she pulled the "poor white character is more oppressed than the rich black character" trope but I (unfortunately?) powered through.

thank you to the publisher for gifting me with this ARC!

sadly, this book wasn't for me. despite titanic being my hyperfixation when i was younger, i felt like that aspect of the book just didn't really work. it was hard to root for these characters when you knew that everything would go wrong by the end. this is by no means a bad book, just disappointing.

What an amazing read! I loved this so much, I truly fell in love with all of the main characters. The book perfectly acknowledges the bigotry of society without purely focusing on the negative. Adiba is quickly becoming one of my absolute favorite authors, she’s truly a visionary!

It was alright. Wasn’t impressed on any level but I enjoyed the second half of the book a bit more. Disappointed about the end in some ways but it was enjoyable yet could have been improved
