Reread from freshman year of hs. I ADORE the worldbuilding of this series. This book is so fun exCEPT for that silly goofy part at the end! What's with that Ms. Clare! Waiting for it to clear up rn in the City of Ashes. But yeah its been like six years since I read it anyway so I didn't really remember the twists and such which was really fun. LOVE that Clary is not like other girls. Encapsulates the 2007 vibe i believe.

This would have CONSUMED me if I read it when I was a teenager. The “twist” of Jace and Clarissa would have sent me into ORBIT. I had seen a few episodes of ShadowHunters but I am annoyed with how Alec and Isabelle were just completely forgotten about the last 30%.
