Ehhh the beginning was really confusing and I got lost in the idol complications but overall, this was cute. I do like hate-to-love relationships but this felt.... obvious. I like them because seeing the characters grow is enjoyable but I felt like Rima was still a child in the end. Hell, I thought the two 10 year olds had a better relationship progress than the main characters. I didn’t get the whole dynamic with Kumi’s dad but it’s a pretty short series with a LOT going on. I did love the sweetness in the last volume when he goes to see her after surviving that fire. It had its moments.
Overall, a complicated but sweet romance.
