It'll keep you turning the pages in that fluffy-book-way. Not the best chick-lit, but not bad.
Engrossing, but felt a tad bit “off”. The mind games toward the end totally threw me for a loop… I thought the main character had worked so hard on herself throughout the novel and then to almost throw it all away again… I’m glad it ended how it did, anyhow!
This book could have been condensed in a short read, but she has taken page after page of irrelevant chatter to describe, well, all her thoughts? It makes the character a little much, although you know exactly what kind of much. I did read until the end because we all want to know if she ends up with the right man. I won’t tell you, but I’m sure you can guess.

This book was seriously bad. Or seriously not what I was in the mood for? The writing style reminds me very specifically of a friend who is a terrible writer but has no idea that is the case. So it's possible this book is not actually terrible, but was bound to strike me as such.

I found this author as a listed inspiration for humor used in another book. I saw the correlation. It could feel trivial and long at points but then I would bring myself back to the dialogue. So hilarious! The way the MC self reflects is delightful.

For me, the beginning was slow. (Not the opening however, that was quite catching)! But I liked the unexpected turn in the second half. And it tied up nicely at the end.
