Quite liked listening to a full length book regarding Lord John Grey as compared to the little novellas I’ve been reading regarding him. I love how much depth these stories give his character and feel as though it makes him seem more crucial in the Outlander novels.

Diana Gabaldon has turned her Lord John Grey character into a very interesting sleuth! There are references to Jamie Fraser (& Claire) in her Lord John stories, but mostly the books are about solving mysterious interlinked crimes and navigating the hazards of being gay in a homophobic society (England in the 1750s or '60s). Fascinating!
