I love this world that Mignon has created so much! I can’t get enough! The prologue had my heart breaking and I couldn’t read on fast enough to find out what was going to happen to Mikey, the main character I already loved. Life got in the way otherwise I would have read it in one sitting! I was obsessed with this story.

Mikey has been through a lot in his life with a fast track hockey career and a beautiful wife. When disaster strikes, he must figure out how to move on as a single father. Molly has stuck by Mikey through all the tragedy whether either of them wanted her to or not. Suddenly, feelings start to shift and change. They both feel it but are also terrified of what it could mean.

Their relationship is not an easy one and they share a lot of grief and loss. I loved watching them interact and push the boundaries when they needed to. Grief is unique to each person and the way it was written into this story was beautifully done.

Mikey definitely has more than one angel on his team.

I love that we continue to get glimpses of characters from past books. It doesn’t take away from the story at all; it adds to the character development and creates a deeper layer of love for these characters and this world.

If you like sports romance books, especially hockey, you need to pick this book, and this series, up right now! Trust me, I’m a huge hockey fan and can tell you that Mignon knows what she’s talking about!

Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.

I have been a fan of Mignon Mykel for a long time. I have been waiting for this book because of the prominence that Mikey held as a secondary character in this author’s previous works. This wait was well worth it. I loved the book and finished it in a matter of hours. I could not put it down!

Mikey is one of those characters that you can not help but fall in love with. He is kind and protective. However, most of all, he is a good father. Mikey is a character that is not hard to root for and is one that readers should really get to know.

Molly is the perfect heroine. She is strong, smart, and kind. She is the perfect match for Mikey. All in all, this was not who I expected for Mikey, but is someone who is completely right for him.

As a reader, this book gave great insight into Mikey and Molly’s lives. It was a robust story and one that did not shy away from the realities of life. All in all, this is a class Mignon Mykel read that should not be missed!

25: Angels and Assists by Mignon Mykel is Book 3 in the Enforcers of San Diego series; an ice$hockey sports romance series.
Wow, Mignon has once again hit the nail on the head with this emotionally charged instalment to the Enforcers series. Hits you right in the heart from The Prologue to the Epilogue. I absolutely adored Mikey, his lady, and his family.
25 is written well, has a consuming story with raw, real and heartbreaking moments, but it’s not something I could put down.
If you’ve read Mignon before, you know she is amazing in everything she does and this one is no different. If you haven’t, start right now, you will not be disappointed.
