A very slight, light on horror, horror novel just in time for Halloween. If you’re a fan of Desperate Housewives, American Housewife, Santa Clarita Diet and Dietland, then you will probably like this entry into the suburbs and upper-middle class life are hell for women. I would have liked the humor and horror here to have both been pushed to the limit rather than barely there. I also think $17 is a big ask from the publisher. This should have been $9.99 and sold on a full end cap at Target or even on a special display in the Halloween section.

The perfect combination of horror and humor. I loved the concept of using regular neighborhood moms as the main characters of a horror book and it was executed well. I couldn’t put this book down! I also was glad it didn’t have any of the typical dumb characters or the characters that don’t believe in demons. Would highly recommend
