This book was so good. I loved the ending. The twist in like the middle of the book was crazy and I loved it throughout.

I love me a good feminine rage icon, and this FMC delivered. I will admit, it took me a minute to get into, and at first I wasn’t understanding why everyone was so obsessed with this book. Then everything came together and boyyy do I get it now. Everything was laid out pretty openly from the get go, which left me confused about where the plot could possibly go, but Fargo did such a great job of taking smaller incidents and wrapping them all together to create something bigger.  I finished this in a single day, because once it hooked me, I couldn’t put it down. For everyone who’s ever been labeled an “angry” female…this one’s for you.

This felt like really lazy and rudimentary writing to me. Yes some men absolutely suck but every single straight man in this self described tiny town is horrific??

fmc had some redeeming qualities of standing up for younger women but overall this book left me feeling  conflicted. Good quick read though can’t complain when I borrow a random book from Libby

This book was already sitting at 4 star for me UNTIL I reached the middle and then it immediately shot to a 5.

The alternative timelines and characters is brilliant.

So well written and compelling I loved this book. While I could see most of the twists coming I still enjoyed it.

If I had to describe this book with one word, it would be UNHINGED. Scarlett is definitely showing major signs of clinical psychopathy... This book has the morally grey characters and the female rage (and also bloodlust) it promised and we also have several bisexual characters. However, the author did write bisexuality a bit stereotypically and I especially disliked the quote “every cute girl is bi”. The plot twist in the story comes fairly early, around the 50% mark, but I was still intrigued to keep reading afterwards. The fact that
every single man except for the gay couple was a complete asshole
was a little overkill in my opinion. Still, it’s a fun and easy read.
