We're told so abruptly about everyone's lives. Everything that moves the "plot" is done through dialoged. Speaking of plot, there isn't much of one. Of course once Will and Stella meet there is something, other than that- I don't know what I'm supposed to be rooting for. If I had read this when I was 15, I'd see the romance so maybe I'm not the target audience. It wasn't the worst book I've ever read, I didn't DNF it but I wish it lived up to all the hype around it.
Moderate: Cursing, Terminal illness, Panic attacks/disorders, Child death, Chronic illness, Death, Medical content, and Mental illness
