Really nice book. Not super accurate of what CF is like, but it gives a good introduction to CF for those who have no previous knowledge about it. Sweet, emotional, and on the cry scale of how good it was, I cried once. There is a character death, though it is not graphic but is directly related to CF, so beware. There is a token gay friend, so head’s up if that’s a point of interest.

the token gay friend does die from CF

This book gives me 'The Fault in our Stars' vibes. It's got the same thing going for it. Two sick kids fall in love, but they are of course faced with the fact that they are both sick and don't have a long life ahead of them. I personally don't love romance books but this one was pretty good.

I love when an author is able to make me hate a character and then fall in love with that same character. That was Will for me, at the beginning I didn't like Will I thought he was rude and didn't really care about himself or anyone around him. As the story when on though, the author started to tell you a little bit about Wills' life, and I started to sympathize for him. Will ended up being my favorite character because he had so much growth. At the beginning he cared about nothing but at the end he showed his growth and just how much he was willing to do for Stella.

Another thing I enjoy is when a book is able to make me cry. This didn't make me cry like it felt like it was supposed to. I shed a few tears, but I didn't bawl my eyes out like a lot of other people did. The book felt like it was trying to make me cry.

I watched the movie to this book, and I felt it was a good adaptation of the book. So, if you don't feel like reading the book you can just go watch the movie.

I love this book and will continue to re read it forever. It's such a beautiful story and the love these characters share. I laughed and cried at this book. It was a so beautiful especially the ending where they saw each other at the airport and will was still sick. I would definitely recommend. Especially if you like doomed romances
