I one clicked this anthology as soon a I found out Lily Wildhart had a story going in it. Which I loved getting Indi's story and so hope we get more in the future.
However I was pleasantly surprised to see AR Beck, Indie Black and a few other authors I enjoy also had stories with the anthology. Along with many new to me authors that I will definitely be checking more. This anthology has all kinds of spice and some CW:TW /18+ that should be checked before reading. Truly enjoyed it. 4.5/stars overall.

WHAT LIES BETWEEN US BY H.D. CARLTON

Absolute perfection. I'm so excited and hooked into this world I cannot wait for more. Oh my gosh it was just so much more than anything I could have imagined and it was AMAZING.
Legit only 90 pages and so much fucking happened. It was like a whole ass movie in my head and was just the most fun, creepy, intriguing thing ever.
I'm already OBSESSED with Link & Echo, Minnie, and that professor

**ARC Review of Where Morals Die by Suki Williams**
This is a AMAZING short story in the Anthology! Suki never disappoints! I loved this! I want more of Grigoriy & Rheva! I need it!
Rheva thought she was laying low when she walked into the casino that night. Little did she know that she was about to grab the attention of some very dangerous men. She plays a meek little thing but she’s really the complete opposite. She’s fiery and full of spirit!
Grigoriy is a major alpha asshole! Built by the Mafia and made to be the leader! Hot and Possessive! He set his sights on Rheva the moment she walked in.
The tension and spice in this short is breath taking!! It’s fast pace and eventful! What a great teaser of a story!

What Lies Between Us by HD Carlton: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I'd be excited to read a grocery list written by HD, so this was an extra fun surprise for me! This was a super quick read with a completely immersive plot and spice that didn't disappoint. I loved Link and Echo's dynamic (and all the angst obvi) and can't wait to read what comes next for these two!

I read HD Carlton’s story in this anthology, What Lies Between us, and absolutely loved it!
It’s an MM novella that follows Link and Echo. It’s a friends to enemies to lovers dark romance with a murder mystery thrown in and all of the spookies.
Even after being acquitted, everyone at the school still thinks Echo murdered his girlfriend; Links twin sister.
It’s set in a spooky college where rich parents ship their troublesome kids. There are hidden passages and unfriendly ghosts around every corner and I am so stoked to learn more about the school.
We are getting a full length novel for these two, but this short story still gives you angst, some super hot spice, and the perfect amount of mystery to keep you on the hook. And we do get a HFN.
Definitely recommend, especially for spooky season.
