The story of Indiana's female Bluebeard. Did she die in the fire? Or did she stage the scene of one of her many crimes?
I think my biggest problem with this book was the narrator, he was soo boring! Overall, the book was interesting, but the narrator put me to sleep at times. He was so monotonous, with little emotion.
I learned more about Belle Gunness' potential accomplice, but most of the other information about her wasn't new.  But it was quite in-depth.
I was horrified by how people who lived near the area acted flocking to the crime scene.

The beginning of the story of Belle Gunness is interesting and pulls you in - you definitely want to know more! But as things progress, the story is drawn out and becomes more of a case overview. I really had trouble slogging through this one; in fact it took me an entire month to finish it.
