This book took me almost 2 years to finish because it was LITERALLY THAT BORING.
I’d love to give a spoiler alert, but I can’t, because LITERALLY NOTHING HAPPENED.
I love Sarah J Maas, but I’m sorry, I decidedly do not love this book. I just suffered through it so I could finally move to book 5 and finish ACOTAR.
Unless you’re a glutton for punishment like me or want to read 200 pages of being traumatized around Velaris, feel free to skip this book.

Its okay. Hard to follow some of the story as it has been a long while since I have read the last book. Some of the plot points didn’t follow through for me. Also, some annoying language use, like female and male, and “mate” every other page. Overall, not a well formed story.
