The scope and inventiveness of these stories really surprised me. A few seemed a little dated and stale, a bit heavy handed, but overall they were fresh and creepy, poignant and sutble. A good introduction if you’ve never read anything of his before.

A few stories didn't really do anything for me, but as a whole this is a very strong collection with a great frame narrative, and Ray Bradbury was just better at short stories than almost any other writer.

I liked some stories, the one that stuck with me the most was the rain on venus.
