I loved this book and will refer to it often. It has inspired me to find rhythm within my day and live by the mantra less is more. Such a great resource for parents.

Excellent. Lots of good ideas to simplify the lives of kids today (with plenty of good reasons/proof to back those ideas). A good reminder for everything that less really is more.

I loved this book and the overall message it had. The author broke things down into manageable steps and while I listened on audiobook I want a real copy so I can highlight and reference sections over and over again. I believe the strategies put forth in this book will make me more the parent I want to be and help me nurture my children to thriving.

4.5 rounded to 4. One of the more interesting parenting books I've read so far! Very applicable to everyday life without kids as well. I particularly enjoyed the sections on schedules and "keeping out the adult world". The authors have fascinating perspectives on many subjects, though one caveat is that it was originally published in 2009. I'd be interested to hear how the authors' insights may have evolved with how parenting styles have shifted in the last several years.
