The fourth Stitch in Time book was an absolute delight. It followed the same formula as the others: fall through stitch, find man & mystery. This one features the third and final Hastings sister, Portia, who we didn’t know much about before this book. She is smart, pretty, and sensible to a fault. I really enjoyed the love interest in this book, he might be my favorite thus far. As always, I flew through this book. It was fast paced and action packed. You could read this as a stand alone and not be confused, but I would recommend the whole series because it’s great!

I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley.

Another great story from Kelley Armstrong! I love the paranormal aspect of the ghosts in this story but the mystery was fantastic, I was not able figure out either mystery before they were revealed. I love that each book in the "A Stitch in Time" series centres around the manor but focuses on different characters. You might see characters from previous stories pop-up but they are always in the periphery. Looking forward to reading the novellas next, hopefully before the next book in the series is released.

Oh this was the best one yet:

I did feel it was a tad rushed at the end.  Such a great story though.  I wanted to know more if the real red jack, and how the brother’s aunt responds to their engagement.  The book was so well paced and developed and then the last few chapters it was as if she realized she had a deadline or something.
