Interesting concept in a fantasy novel. Once I could sit down and read it for an uninterrupted period of time, I couldn't put it down
The biggest part of this novel I enjoyed was having more of the Grishaverse since finishing the SOC duology. It picks up more in the second half, but I get weird vibes from the amount of personal growth based on love interest. Kinda flat compared to SOC for me. I want to read the two sequels still, mostly so I can compare to the show. 3.5 stars
No character is being bisexual quite like Alina is being bisexual. The way she describes women is quite possibly the most bi shit I’ve ever heard I’m here for it XD

Wow. This is surely one of the best books I've ever read. I read it all in a day because I couldn't put it down. Everything about this book was perfect! I can't help but still love the Darkling despite how evil he is haha.
