Probably one of the most interesting books I've ever read about a topic and a people I really know so little about. Compelling characters all running from or towards the past, either to escape it or understand and connect to it. Thought provoking.

A dark past crawling back from where it was buried and everybody trying to forget it. Meet two young women who try to define their identity. One by reaching for the past and the other to live without it. Beautifully written with captivating characters against the backdrop of Istanbul.
