Perci is stuck. She is stuck in a job she hates, listening to her mother nitpick about her body, in a crappy relationship and hating herself. Still, all of that changes in a fateful dentist visit when her boyfriend dumps her live on air in exchange for concert tickets! Perci and her friend Matthias decide to create a list of anti resolutions and Perci challenges herself to try and follow them.

Nate is an excellent love interest and never brings up her weight/size as being a negative thing but the rest of the characters definitely do. As a fellow fattie some parts were quite difficult to read and it did bring back a lot of memories of when I was a teen fighting with my body and crash dieting so definitely be mindful of trigger warnings - I did cry at this book but I'm unsure if it was a response to the happily ever after (always present in a romcom) or from the memories, it stirred

The ending didn't quite feel right to me, no proper apologies are said and a certain character remains working for the family company which doesn't seem right. I also really wanted Perci to go no contact with her family but instead, she forgives them for their behaviour!?

Overall I'd give this book 3.5 stars.
