This book reminded me that I have feelings… it also made me question if I was nice enough to my siblings. So beautifully written and melancholy at the same time.

I hated this. Made it like 45% done and have to stop. Everyone is awful. Yes they are all grieving but they all act like they are grieving more than each other. Losing loved ones is hard, it’s not a competition on who grieves the most or the hardest. Sally as a teenager has zero, absolutely no empathy towards her parents wanting to get back into somewhat of a normal routine and also being upset passing by the tragedy site. She literally got upset at her mom having to pull the car over and cry.
