This is lovely :)
It didn't necessarily grip me every step of the way, it was a little calmer than that. But it does have this 'soul-healing' effect that japanese translated fiction does. They always lead me to viewing my life in a different way, in a helpful way for working on achieving my dreams :)

Highly recommend this^^

Enjoyed this a lot. Nothing groundbreaking imo but a great selection of (somewhat interconnected) stories about the importance of books and libraries, and how they improve our lives in many ways. The third story really spoke to me.

What you are looking for is in the library is an inspiring, easy to read book. I fell in love with it almost immediately and could not put it down. It explores the beauty of books, how intricate and beautiful they really are and how much impact they can make in someone's life.

The story is told through the lens of 5 different characters with their own unique stories and experiences. The one thing in common is their feeling of inadequacy. This leads them all to the same place- The Library.

This is exactly the kind of book you should read when you want to feel happy & full!

I was kind of expecting this magical librarian fantasy, but instead was tricked into learning a bunch of life lessons! So very good!

“I’m proud to be a part of that process.”

How can we ever know the reach of our influence? Different people take away different messages from different books. The true impact of books is truly unfathomable. “What You Are Looking For is in the Library” is a perfect example of finding what we need despite not knowing what we are looking for.

If you’re in a reading slump, this book is guaranteed to pull you out of it.
