While I was reading this I thought it was kind of boring, I was so confused and I did not like the writing style. But now I understand, and it all makes sense now. I’m going to need a few days to process this

*˚。⋆ ➵ to be honest, i have very neutral thoughts about this book! it wasn’t bad, but it also didn’t blow me away. i didn’t love any of the characters or the little romance, but the ending did still make me shed a few tears. it was definitely very confusing and after finished the book, you’re kind of left there thinking, “what did i just read?”. but honestly other than that, nothing else stood out to me! i do still think if you want to know the crazy plot twist everyone’s always talking about, you should give it a try!

I think maybe I should stop looking for recommendations online if I don’t want to be disappointed. So many people said this book had an amazing plot twist, and it was so heart wrenching, etc. but I could tell the other Liars were dead as soon as she went to the island in summer 17; it just felt so obvious to me. I was also really annoyed with the amount of Privilege in the book. And the one time they try to address it, it either results in senseless death or is a poor way of addressing guilt. That having been said, the book was hard to put down although the structure (i.e. breaking the sentences across several lines) was sometimes really unnecessary. Overall, a solid 3.5/5 read.

The plot twist is actually insane, kept me on my toes the entire time I was reading, one of my favorite books of all time! Had me all emotional towards the end, but I read it in one sitting and couldn’t put it down
