✳︎3.5✳︎ Everything felt flat. It did not feel like a story but just a description of explanation. It was so hard to see what was going to happen. I didn't hate it but I didn't love it either. I don't know. I don't really know what to feel about this. But as soon as you find out what really happened, you see what you missed that meant something. The last part was pretty emotional and so unpredictable. There are so many characters, so I had to take notes haha

I took a while warming up with this book. The first 1/6 felt very strange and written in an overly dramatic fashion. However, as it turned out later, that was actually intentional since the narrator was a very unreliable one. In the end, the book was quite well thought-through, and though the ending came suddenly, it wasn't rushed either. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes crime/investigative stories.

Quick read and kept interested throughout. Author had an interesting writing style and use of metaphors. Ending wrapped up very well, but wish it would have been more in line with what I was wanting.
