it was good book but…. for me the writing style is like if you are not 100% concentrated in the book then u won’t get but if u are you’ll understand it which is an interesting style i guess. it was good and decent at the same time.

This has been on my tbr list for aaaages. When recently swapping book recs with a friend she said it was her very favorite ever, so I bumped it up to read next. This first book is available as part of the Audible Plus catalog, so that was a bonus. The narrator is Irish (I'm not sure if Darrow "seems" Irish when you're reading the print copy?) but goes super posh American when narrating the Gold accent. The accents definitely added to my listening experience.

I really liked this and will continue the series. It's a little bit Hunger Games meets Brave New World meets Divergent, but also definitely it's own thing. No idea what the next book will bring but I'm here for it!
