This book was up and down for me - lukewarm at some points and hot at others, and the ending was abrupt. Overall the book felt more considered with great fight scenes that I could visualise strongly, and moments of shock and grief that (while perhaps were expected) still affected me.
The odd creepy comment still occurs but it’s definitely decreasing now: “apprenticing for the role of sexy granny […] by the looks of it this one was going to graduate in the top 2 percentile” what……..
